1. Acceptance of Terms By creating a Vaya account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. 2. Eligibility You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By using Vaya, you represent and warrant that you have never been convicted of a felony and are not required to register as a sex offender. 3. Safety & Personal Responsibility No Background Checks: Vaya operates as a platform to connect travelers. We do not conduct criminal background checks on our users or verify the statements made by users. Personal Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your interactions. We strongly encourage you to meet in public places, inform friends/family of your whereabouts, and use caution. Conduct: You agree not to harass, bully, stalk, or intimidate other travelers. 4. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vaya (including its founders, directors, and employees) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any physical, emotional, or financial harm resulting from your use of the app or interactions with other users. You agree to indemnify and hold Vaya harmless from any claims, lawsuits, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or your actions within the app. 5. User Content & License You own the photos and details you post. However, you grant Vaya a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your content to other users for the purpose of operating the service. 6. Prohibited Activities You agree not to: Use the service for any "catfishing," fraudulent purposes, or to promote illegal acts. Scrape data or use the app for commercial advertising/spam. Post lewd, sexually explicit, or offensive imagery. 7. Support & Grievance Redressal If you encounter problematic behavior, bugs, or wish to report a user who violates these terms, please use the In-App Support/Report feature located in your Profile Settings. In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, our designated Grievance Officer can be contacted directly at: Email: vayadate@gmail.com We aim to acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 7 days (or 36 hours for severe violations).
